YIN is a healing practice for your mind and body; introspective, quiet, and meditative – floor based or in a chair to suit the body’s physical needs. This practice teaches us self-compassion and love, permission to relax and accept ourselves just as we are in the present moment. The intention; letting go of muscular effort, allowing deep connective tissues of the body to gently and intentionally, stretch and release. As we age, tissues of the body, organs, and joints decrease and Yin Yoga practice promotes openings and flexibility, assisting to releasing blockages within. Regular on-going practice, offers the mind improved relaxation, and the body maintains more flexibility and better efficiency, resulting in overall optimal health and wellness every day. YIN Yoga following cycling, strength, and cardio workouts to balance the more intense work with your well deserved “3-R’s” -Rest, Recovery, Re-Set.
