It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that the Virtua Fitness Center – Moorestown will not reopen when the statewide closure of gyms and fitness centers is eventually lifted. Unfortunately, the considerable expenses of operating the fitness center, coupled with the suspension in services caused by COVID-19, resulted in an unsustainable set of circumstances. We understand and share your disappointment in this news.
Because it does not carry the same overhead costs, the Virtua William G. Rohrer Fitness Center in Voorhees will reopen, when permitted, in accordance with state regulations. Your current membership grants you access to that location and we invite you continue your fitness journey there. Should you prefer to cancel your membership instead, our team will assist you in making that a simple, straightforward process.
We are sure you have many questions, which is why we prepared the FAQs below. Should you have additional questions, we encourage you to call us at (856) 291-8800 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Again, we are sorry to share unhappy news during an already difficult and stressful time due to the ongoing pandemic. From major franchises to independent local businesses, fitness centers have been uniquely impacted by COVID-19 and its repercussions are felt nationwide. Through it all, Virtua remains committed to being your lifelong partner in health through our wide offerings of health and wellness services.
The Staff at the Virtua Fitness Center – Moorestown
What should I do about my membership?
Should you like, you can keep your membership and take advantage of the Virtua Fitness Center in Voorhees (when it is permitted to reopen). If you would prefer to cancel your membership, please call (856) 291-8800 or email email@example.com. Please do so by or before October 20, 2020. We would be sorry to see you go, but would be glad to assist you.
What will happen to the employees?
Power Wellness, the nation’s largest management company in the medical fitness industry, employs the staff at the Moorestown Fitness Center. Power Wellness is working directly with its team-members through this transition.
Will another gym go inside the Moorestown center?
We are unable to know for sure. Virtua leases the space from a real estate investment group, and it is ultimately that company’s decision as to what will occupy that section of the Health & Wellness Center in the future.
Will the medical practices inside the center stay open?
Yes. The 13 medical/surgical practices within the facility will remain open. If you are a patient of these offices, your care plan should be unaffected by this closure.
